The armless upholstered easy chair was created by Pierre Jeanneret for use in the Chandigarh High Court, Panjab University and student housing. The low chair catalogued as PJ-SI-36A was meant for relaxation and was often seen in informal areas of buildings and homes. The slightly tilted backrest and seat are upholstered in different materials. The low ‘V’ shaped legs are profiled flat and connected with two rails from below. A must have from the Chandigarh Chairs collection.
