The Pierre Jeanneret solid teak library armless box chair has been catalogued as PJ-SI-54A referencing the Pierre Jeanneret creation designed for the Panjab Secretariat Administration in Chandigarh circa 1960. It has a banner style backrest that is slightly tilted and curved. However, it is the braided canework seat with its unique double leg assembly that gives it the famed boxed look. The legs are connected by two rails for extra support.
