Design PJ-SI-42A is also known as the “Advocate & Press Chair” and was unsurprisingly widely seen at the high court in Chandigarh circa 1955-56. The Pierre Jeanneret Advocate Chairs feature slightly tilted backrest, seat and armrests are also upholstered in a variety of different materials. The separate arm rests have roll type stuffed covers and are supported by ‘Bridge’ style slanting and profiled flat legs. Front and back rails support the seat from underneath.
